We will follow the footsteps of the defenders of Dubrovnik who climbed this trail back in 1991 to fight off the Serbian and Montenegrin attacks. During the walk, the guide will speak about the siege of Dubrovnik and the hardships endured by the locals.
After around an hour of an easy uphill walk we will reach the top and visit the war memorial museum inside the Imperial fortress. The fortress was the single most important defense point of Dubrovnik. It has not been repaired from the war but is left as it was as a witness to the events. Tour of the fortress will end on its top terrace from where we will watch the amazing sunset while enjoying a glass of local wine.
We will return to the Old Town by cable car. The cable car ride is fun and exciting and saves us time and energy in getting back down.
Our hiking tours were designed so they can be completed by people of all ages and fitness levels.
